The Department of Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) requires an Open License on LiDAR data acquired in 2019 and 2020 in the Greater Toronto Area (ON), Calgary (AB) and Lethbridge (AB) regions. The license must be compatible with the Open Government License – Canada: https://open.canada.ca/en/open-government-licence-canada. This type of licence allows the use and distribution of the LiDAR data and derivative products generated by the Government of Canada to the entire population without restriction.
