MacDonald (DJM) Building Modernization, Charlottetown, PE 5139A: Construction Services, Not Elsewhere Specified 5177BA: Interior Fit-Up/Renovations All work is to be performed in accordance with the plans and specifications for PWGSC Project Number R.056687.005 forming part of the bid document. The project includes the rehabilitation and optimization of the Daniel J MacDonald Building located at 161 Grafton Street, in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island which was constructed in 1984. The building serves as the national headquarters for Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC) and home for the Veterans Review and Appeal Board (VRAB). The purpose of this construction project is to replace and modernize the asset’s aging mechanical/electrical systems and to modernize the outdated interior space to GC Workplace standards. This project is estimated $40,000,001 or above. (HST extra). Standard bid and contract security for the construction is required. An Industry Session related to the tender and the Indigenous Participation Plan (IPP) will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 from: 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. ADT via Zoom. This session aims to help start the conversation and provide preliminary information to allow bidders to determine their IPP commitments. Bidders who do not participate in the session will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Pre-Registration for this session is required.
