BID SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS Due to the impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic, temporary measures are being taken on-site at the Québec Region Bid Receiving Unit to encourage social distancing. The health and safety of staff and suppliers remains our top priority. Submissions can be send only by epost Connect service. This requirement is subject to the COVID-19 Vaccination Policy for Supplier Personnel. Failure to complete and provide the COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement Certification as part of the bid will render the bid non-responsive. DESCRIPTION The required work consists of carrying out inspections, maintenance and repairs to ensure the proper operation of the generator sets at the federal Transport Canada docks in Saint-Augustin and Tête-à-la-Baleine. PERIOD OF THE CONTRACT The period of the Contract is from date of award to October 31st, 2023 inclusive. Moreover, the Contractor grants to Canada the irrevocable option to extend the term of the Contract by up to three (3) additional one (1) year period. OPTIONAL SITE VISIT There will be no site visit. MANDATORY CRITERION AT CLOSING DATE The bidder must provide proof of his recent experience by citing as a reference three (3) similar projects carried out during the last five (5) years. SECURITY REQUIREMENTS There is no security requirement applicable to this Agreement.
