Description:
Environment and Climate Change Canada requires an environmental and/or ecological risk management expert/advisor (the Contractor) to develop tools to assist the CWS staff with risk management activities when undertaking projects, participating in regulatory reviews, in impact assessments, and other environmental assessment processes. The Contractor must develop a risk-based biodiversity decision framework (Framework), biodiversity offset decision support tool (formerly called the offset calculator, herein hereafter referred to as the Calculator), and pathways of effects models (PoEs) for the application of CWS mandate and authorities to conserve, protect and recover species at risk, conserve and protect migratory birds and wetlands. The period of the Contract is from date of Contract to December 31, 2022 inclusive.
