1. Requirement Summary The objective of this contract is to develop survivor-centric and trauma-informed guidelines for front-line community workers in order to address survivors’ of labour trafficking specific needs, assist in their recovery and healing, and minimize re-traumatization by providing front-line community workers with: an understanding of the current landscape of human trafficking for the purpose of forced labour in Canada; and access to client-centred and trauma-informed approaches to supporting victims and survivors of forced labour. Engaging key anti-human trafficking stakeholders across Canada will be imperative to informing the development of the guidelines. Bidders are encouraged to form partnerships and collaborate with skilled experts (researchers, service providers, training developers) who can provide the skill set required to undertake the work described herein. 2. Period of Work The period of the Contract is from date of Contract award to March 31st, 2023. 3.
