Description:
Trade Agreement: NONE Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest/Lower Bid Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: Letter of Interest DSEF Professional Services Support - W8486-217807/A This is not a bid solicitation The intent of this Letter of Interest (LOI) is to provide industry with advance notice regarding a prospective bid solicitation and to seek comments as appropriate regarding the solicitation documentation, including the technical requirements. Whether or not any potential supplier responds to this RFI will not preclude that supplier from participating in any future procurement. Also, the procurement of any of the goods and services described in this RFI will not necessarily follow this RFI. This RFI is simply intended to solicit feedback from industry with respect to the matters described in this RFI. The Government of Canada has a requirement for the provision of professional services to support the Director Land Command Systems Program Management (DLCSPM) with software engineering and sustainment on an as-and-when requested basis to develop specialized applications for LC4ISR systems. The Contractor will not only support DLCSPM with the sustainment of the LC4ISR specialized software as it exists, but will also support the development of future evolutions of applications and integration of various initiatives and projects that will contribute to Canada’s defence vision of being Strong, Secure and Engaged (SSE). The work will be performed on an as-and-when requested basis, through a Task Authorization process. The work will include tasks related to software development and engineering of the LC4ISR systems. The future solicitation is intended to result in the award of one (1) contract, for five (5) years plus five (5) one-year irrevocable options allowing Canada to extend the term of the contract. The national security exception provided for in the trade agreements has been invoked; therefore, the proposed procurement will be excluded from all of the obligations of all the trade agreements. The draft solicitation includes a draft Security Requirements Checklist. This document as well as the draft Request for Proposal documents remain a work in progress and respondents should not assume that new clauses or requirements will not be added to any bid solicitation that is ultimately published by Canada. Nor should respondents assume that none of the clauses or requirements will be deleted or revised. Comments regarding any aspect of these draft documents are welcome. Delivery Date: Above-mentioned The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
