Description:

Trade Agreement: CETA/WTO-AGP/CPTPP/CFTA/FTAs with Peru/Colombia/Panama/Korea/UK Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest/Lower Bid Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: Super Resolution Laser Scanning Confocal Microscope 31184-222411/A Bellerdine(pv961), Chad Telephone No. - (613) 323-0178 The Human Health Therapeutics (HHT) Research Center (RC) of the National Research Council of Canada (NRC) has a requirement for a Super Resolution Laser Scanning Confocal Microscope for its imaging facility in Ottawa. This equipment is required to support both internal and external projects, including small to medium enterprises (SME’s), academia and work from other RCs that require super resolution confocal capabilities. This system will be used to examine live samples such as acute brain slices, organotypic slices, primary cells and cell lines, as well as fixed immuno-fluorescence slide preparations. For live samples imaging, both high scanning speed and sensitivity are critical for detecting physiological events with lower laser power for low cell damage. The super resolution will allow NRC to better understand internalization, intracellular trafficking and co-localization within cells in culture or slices for various molecules of interest (i.e. protein, antibodies and nanoparticles). The requirement must include all of the following: • One super resolution laser scanning confocal microscope which must include all of the following: o Microscope; o Laser; o Detection Module; o Scanning Module; o Imaging Software; o Anti-vibration Air Table; and o Microscope Control System • On-site Installation; • On-site Training; • 5 year Software Support Period; and • Documentation Delivery Date: Above-mentioned The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
