The qualification list will expire within 60 days or upon award of a contract in Phase Two, whichever is earlier, and the prequalification list will not be used in any other solicitation. Bids must be submitted using the CPC connect service. The solicitation number must be identified in the CPC Connect message field of all electronic transfers. Further instruction is provided in the Invitation to Qualify document. PROJECT DESCRIPTION Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) has a requirement to upgrade the existing lifeboat station access road at the Burgeo Lifeboat Station in Burgeo, NL. The work under this project consists of the furnishing of all plant, labour, equipment and material to perform the work. In general, work under this contract will consist of, but will not necessarily be limited to, the following: 1. Removal of existing granulars, and asphalt. 2. Removal of existing corrugated metal pipe culvert. Supply and installation of new HDPE culvert. 3. Supply and install new Type I and Type II granular material and new asphalt. 4. Field and lab quality control testing of materials including, but not limited to, granulars, and asphalt. 5. Submission of a site specific safety plan, environmental protection plan, staging and work plan. 6. Verification of work by surveys. 7. Other work as specified or detailed in the contract documents. No allowance shall be made subsequently in this connection on account of error or negligence to properly observe and determine the conditions that will apply.
