This contract would be for the construction of a Caribou Conservation Breeding Facility in Jasper National Park (JNP) in a potential location south of the Jasper town site off of Highway 93A. Parks Canada is anticipating to construct a new caribou breeding facility on a previously undisturbed parcel of forested land. The construction of this facility will be dependent on the outcomes of public consultation, environmental assessments, and engagement with stakeholders and Indigenous partners. A total construction duration of approximately 30 months is anticipated.
