Description:
Since June 1st, 2021, the NRC operate the Biologics Manufacturing Centre (BMC) financed by the Government of Canada at is NRC Royalmount site in Montreal. The BMC will address both the immediate COVID-19 crisis and the enduring need to bolster Canada’s biomanufacturing capacity to better position the country, now and for the future, with an end-to-end GMP biomanufacturing facility that is agile and responsive to the needs of Canada’s health environment. The 1st phase has been done but we plan a second one early 2022. To that end, the NRC is looking to retain a minimum of 2 or more service providers for the identification, recruitment and selection of the necessary resources to operationalize the Biomanufacturing Vaccine Facility (BVF). The immediate recruitment requirements include, but are not limited to: Manufacturing Technicians and technologists in: Media preparation & Washing-Sterilizing, Upstream (cell culture), Downstream, Fill & Finish including packaging and visual inspection Quality Control Analysts; Quality Assurance Specialists; Maintenance Technician; Warehouse Operator.
