Tenders must be received by: 2:00 PM, local Time January 17, 2022 at the following address: aafc.escprocurement-cseapprovisionnement.aac@canada.ca Summary: The contractor will extract by out-rooting 400 apple trees and invasive shrubs in five apple orchards followed by chipping upper stumps, out-rooting lower stumps and chipping underground roots and root-balls of each extracted tree. The contractor will prune 2,668 apple trees and upon grinding trunks, branches and cut wood will remove the resulting mulch off-site. All services will be completed by March 31st, 2022. Mandatory Site Visit: It is mandatory that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for a site visit to be held on January 6, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the Harrow Research and Development Centre, 2585 County Road 20, Harrow, Ontario, N0R 1G0. Interested bidders should wait outside the front doors. Bidders will be requested to sign an attendance form in order to confirm their presence. Bidders who do not attend or send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment and their bids will be rejected as noncompliant. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.
