Tendering procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid. Competitive Procurement Strategy: lowest priced compliant bid, Set-aside under the Procurement Strategy for Indigenous Business: This procurement is not subject to any set-asides for Indigenous Suppliers. Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: This procurement is not subject to a Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement. Security Requirements: This contract does not include security requirements. Nature of Requirements: The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement. The Correctional Service Canada has a requirement to provide Inmate Paid Television Services at the Regional Psychiatric Centre (RPC) in Prairie Region. Objectives: To provide a viable and balanced 0 dB signal for CATV/MATV service throughout RPC for up to 210 CATV outlets at RPC. Deliverables: The Contractor must supply a viable, balanced 0 dB signal for CATV/MATV service to each of the existing 210 outlets in the RPC including all installation, hardware, cabling, subscriptions, and service and maintenance for the duration of the contract. The conduits, cables, wires currently existing on the property will remain the property of CSC - RPC and the RPC will maintain them. Any communication facilities, hardware and equipment on the premises (collectively, the “Network”) installed by or on behalf of the Contractor on, in or to the premises as part of this contract will remain the sole and exclusive personal property of the Contractor. Not withstanding that the Network may be in part or in whole, attached to the premises, it will at all times remain a chattel of the Contractor as part of the contract and not a fixture to the RPC premises. RPC will make all pre-wired outlets available to the Contractor at no additional costs, but the Contractor must maintain them as part of the network. The Contractor's regular published installation and relocation charges will apply should RPC request additional outlets or relocation of the existing outlets. The Contractor must provide cable stations that include a minimum choice of FORTY channels. The FORTY channels must include the basic channel package, a minimum of FOUR movie channels, and TEN a la carte channels. In addition to the above channels, the Contractor must provide a selection of music only channels. The Contractor Channels must notify the Project Authority prior to replacing any channel, and must provide a replacement channel with equivalent content. Sexually explicit channels are prohibited, and the Contractor must not include any sexually explicit channel in the list of channels. Bidders must confirm, in their proposal, that the CATV/MATV services they will provide to RPC exclude any such channels . The Contractor’s CATV/MATV services must not allow any possibility of accessing the internet with any of the equipment installed. Bidders must confirm, in their proposal, their CATV/MATV services and equipment will not allow Internet access .
