Title: A & E Consulting Services for Barrhead, AB Solicitation Number: M5000-21-4083/A RETURN BIDS TO: RCMP / GRC Procurement & Contracting services c/o Commissionaires, F Division 6101 Dewdney Avenue Regina, SK S4P 3K7 Solicitation Closes –L’invitation prend fin at - à 2:00 pm Central Standard Time on - le 25 July 2022 Description: The RCMP requires the services of Architectural and Engineering professionals to provide services for the design and contract administration, delivery and set-up of a detachment facility to meet identified program requirements in Barrhead, Alberta. There is an operational requirement for a new RCMP detachment facility to be constructed in the community of Barrhead, Alberta.Barrhead is approximately 120 kilometers Northwest of Edmonton.The RCMP will use the design delivered for this project as a prototype design which will be used and customized for other projects. The anticipated size of the facility is approximately 778 m2 of finished space. This new facility will replace existing policing facilities that no longer meet the operational requirements for the provision of policing services to the communities of which the detachment serves. New Government of Canada requirements include provisions for net zero carbon compliance buildings.This building will be required to comply with the Net Zero Carbon requirement. The period of the contract is five (5) years from date of contract award. The Consultant grants to Canada the irrevocable option to extend the term of the contract under the same conditions and by multiple option periods to align with the completion of the separate but corresponding construction contract including warranty periods. There is a security requirement associated with the requirement. Refer to the attached tender documents to obtain further information. The Crown retains the right to negotiate with any supplier on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada. The RCMP has adopted the Integrity Regime administered by Public Services and Procurement Canada. As a result, the integrity provisions are being applied in RCMP contracting activities as outlined in this solicitation. Canada will make available Notices of Proposed Procurement (NPP), bid solicitations and related documents for download through the Government Electronic Tendering Service (GETS) at http://www.buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders. Canada is not responsible and will not assume any liabilities whatsoever for the information found on websites of third parties. In the event an NPP, bid solicitation or related documentation would be amended, Canada will not be sending notifications. Canada will post all amendments, including significant enquiries received and their replies, using GETS. It is the sole responsibility of the Bidder to regularly consult GETS for the most up-to-date information. Canada will not be liable for any oversight on the Bidder's part nor for notification services offered by a third party.
