Trade Agreement: Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest/Lower Bid Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: Project Identification: R.065220.544 Title: HVAC Design Building 14 Address: 3701 Carling Ave, Ottawa ON PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This project involves the replacement of AHU-1 and AHU-2 and the installation of an outdoor air handling unit. AHU-1 and AHU-2 are located in the main mechanical room and will be replaced along with the condensing units, in a sequenced manner to ensure that one unit is always operational. The concrete pad supporting the condensing unit, will be modified to accommodate the new units. An additional air handling unit is to be installed on the south side of the building to serve the office space of Building 14. A concrete pad will be required to support the new air handling unit. Work is to be completed within 17 weeks after contract award. The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the following category: $500,001 to $1,000,000 MANDATORY SECURITY REQUIREMENT: This procurement contains a mandatory security requirement. At contract award, the Bidder must hold a valid Facility Security Clearance at the level of Secret. Failure to comply with this requirement will render the Bid non-compliant and no further consideration will be given to the Bid. SITE VISIT: There will be a virtual site visit. Time, date and instructions will be posted via solicitation amendment.
