The health and safety of staff and suppliers remains our top priority. Suppliers are required to submit bids electronically using the Canada Post epost Connect application for the subject bid solicitation. This service allows suppliers to submit bids, offers and arrangements electronically to PWGSC Bid Receiving Units. This online service enables the electronic transfer of large files up to Protected B level. To use epost Connect to submit your bid, or to get more information on its use, please send an email to the Ontario Region Bid Receiving Unit’s generic address at TPSGC.orreceptiondessoumissions-orbidreceiving.PWGSC@tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca. Faxed and hard copy (submitted in person or via mail/courier) bids will not be accepted for the subject bid solicitation. This tender is part of Public Works and Government Services Canada’s initiative to submit bid submission files electronically using epost Connect. Interested bidders should refer to Part 2 of the solicitation document entitled Instructions to bidders/offerors/suppliers, as the case may be, for instructions on how to participate and submit their files electronically for this tender. Environment and Climate Change Canada requires an aspirator system, a part that is custom to its operations and serves to support the functions of the existing Stevenson Screens. The Stevenson Screens are standard across the MSC Surface Network operations, but they cannot function without the appropriate aspirator system. To meet the goals of the submission to the Treasury Board, Environment and Climate Change Canada is in need of the aspirator system to refill inventory. This order will help us to finish the remaining projects and to reach the Renewal II goal of 40 new stations and 150 upgrades/modernizations to existing stations. The Stevenson Screens specifications have been designed to incorporate the size (width, length, height) of the aspirator system in order for the unit to function as a whole. Stevenson Screens procurement has been completed, and the aspirator system is needed to complete the unit. All Stevenson Screen units and aspirator systems are consistent across the MSC Surface Network. Therefore, the required aspirator system requires custom tooling and must be compatible with the existing Stevenson Screens as detailed in Annex A Delivery Date: Above-mentioned The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
