Trade Agreement: Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest/Lower Bid Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: W3474-220349 Helicopter Internal Cargo Handling System N8145 Specialized Shipping and Storage Containers The Royal Canadian Air Force’s (RCAF) Canadian Forces Tool Control Centre (CFTCC) an element within DND, has a requirement for the development of a Helicopter Internal Cargo Handling System (HICHS) for the CH-147 Chinook Helicopter. The CFTCC’s objective is to have industry develop a HICHS prototype and upon acceptance of this prototype CFTCC would like to procure an additional seven (7) HICHS, with the option to purchase ten (10) additional HICHS within a twenty-four (24) months period of the contract being awarded. Canada intends to award one contract. The period of the contract will be from Contract Award to March 31st, 2024 inclusive, with the irrevocable option to acquire the goods, services or both described at Annex "A" of the Contract under the same conditions and at the prices and/or rates stated in the Contract. The bidder must demonstrate that they meet every mandatory financial evaluation criteria in their bid by submitting supporting documentation. Failure to provide supporting documentation by bid closing date will result in the bid being deemed non-responsive. Some of the criteria include: a.The container(s) must have a maximum overall exterior dimension of: 156” L x 39”W x 43”H b.The container(s) must have a minimum interior dimension of usable space of: 151”L x 34”W x 34”H c.The container(s) must be comprised of two separate pieces a removable lid and main body. d.The container(s) shell must be constructed of molded polyethylene. e.The container(s) must have a minimum payload capacity of one thousand five hundred (1,500) lbs.
