Trade Agreement: Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest/Lower Bid Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: Title : Cryogenic Liquid Nitrogen (LN2) Freezer Description: Environment and Climate Change Canada has a requirement for the supply of a Cryogenic Liquid Nitrogen freezer to store biological samples currently archived in an obsolete freezer at the National Wildlife Specimen Bank. The freezer must be self-sustaining, i.e. reach and maintain the liquid nitrogen (LN2) temperature of -150°C or lower under standard performance with only one (1) fill-up of no more than 50L of LN2. The freezer must not require a constant supply of LN2, nor require regular refilling under standard operation (i.e. powered, either empty or filled with chilled racks, and the lid open only for short periods of time). The requirement includes manuals, delivery, installation, training and four (4) optional years for warranty and maintenance. This sytem must meet all of the mandatory technical requirements described in Annex - A. All the deliverables must be received on or before March 31, 2022. Bids will be assessed against the requirements of the solicitation and meet all mandatory technical evaluation criteria to be declared responsive. The responsive bid with the lowest evaluated price will be recommended for the contract award. Bidders may request a debriefing on the results of the request for proposals process. Bidders should make the request to the Contracting Authority within 15 working days of receipt of the results of the request for proposals process. The debriefing may be in writing, by telephone or in person. This PWGSC office provides procurement services to the public in both official languages.
