Trade Agreement: Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest/Lower Bid Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: EZ899-221415/A Title: OCC UPS Replacement Location: RCMP Operational Communications Centre (OCC), Kelowna, BC Note to Tenderers: Due to the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic and to encourage physical distancing, the bid receiving unit in Vancouver will remain open but with limited staff and limited hours: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday only from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Bidders must not submit hard-copy bids outside of these times. Public tender openings will be suspended until further notice. Following solicitation closing, bid results will be recorded and may be obtained by e-mailing a request to the address indicated in the Invitation to Tender. Please monitor Buyandsell.gc.ca closely as changes to bid closing dates may be necessary. Please note that GI08 (Bid Security Requirements) and GI09 (Submission of Bid) of R2710T have been modified to include submission of bids electronically. SI14 COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement and Certification has been added: This requirement is subject to the COVID-19 Vaccination Policy for Supplier Personnel. All Bidders must provide with their bid, the COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement Certification attached to this bid solicitation (Appendix 3). This Certification incorporated into the bid solicitation on its closing date is incorporated into, and forms a binding part of any resulting Contract. Failure to complete and provide the COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement Certification as part of the bid will render the bid non-responsive. Work Description: Work to be performed under this Contract includes, but is not limited to, the following items covered further in the Contract documents: .1 Decommissioning of existing UPS 1 (Uninterruptible Power Supply) and installation of new modular UPS complete with external bypass. .2 Shutdown of existing network and transfer existing critical load to new UPS system. .3 Decommissioning of existing UPS 2 (Uninterruptible Power Supply), paralleling cabinet, disconnect and associated devices. .4 Coordination to maintain site operations and minimize disruption. .5 Demonstration and training of personnel as directed by the Departmental Representative. Refer to Section 01 79 00 Demonstration and Training. The Work will be performed at the RCMP Operational Communications Centre located at 2611 Norris Road, Kelowna, BC. Site Visit: There will be no site visit. Delivery Date: The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work within eighteen [18] weeks from the date of contract award. Estimated Value: To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated to cost approximately between $100,001.00 and $500,000.00 (GST included).
