Work Description: The scope of work includes the supply of materials (with the exception of Owner Supplied Materials), equipment, tools, services, labour, and all things necessary for the completion of the Steveston Paramount Float Module Construction project. Work to be performed under this Contract includes, but not limited to, the following items covered further in the Contract Documents: • Review site specific information. • Receipt of Owner Supplied Timber Materials and Hardware. • Assembly of 45 standard SCH timber float modules • Assembly of 5 standard SCH timber float end kit modules • Launch and splicing of float modules. Site Visit There is no scheduled site visit. Completion of the Work The Contractor must perform and complete the Work within (12) weeks from the date of notification of acceptance of the offer. Value of Project: To assist with bonding and insurance requirements this project is estimated to cost between $100,001 to $500,000. Firms intending to submit proposals on this project should obtain documents through Buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders. Addenda, when issued will be available from Buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders. Firms that elect to base their proposal on documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk and will be solely responsible to inform the tender calling authority of their intention to bid.
