Work Description: Small Craft Harbours (SCH) requires the replacement of the existing 480V power distribution at Steveston Paramount Complex East with a new permanent fully rated normal power distribution system at 120/208/347/600V, 3-phase, 4-wire. SCH Paramount is located in south west of Richmond at 12740 Trites Road, Richmond, BC, on Federal Crown land. General work to be performed: • The provision and installation of a new low voltage electrical distribution system • New electrical distribution system equipped with new Digital Metering Systems (DMS), CT/PT cabinets, enclosures, connection and miscellaneous for a fully functional smart multi-point metering system. • Underground electrical distribution system installation • Provision and installation of new grounding rods, grounding and bonding of all new equipment in accordance with the Canadian Electrical Code. • Coordination and field verification of other existing electrical rooms, electrical equipment, and electrical details. • Demolition and removal of redundant and expired electrical equipment and feeder connections • Provision of concrete housekeeping pads for new transformer • Provision and installation of new house panel 100A, 3Phase, 4W, 42CCT • Provision and installation of new lighting, lighting controls, heaters, data outlets, receptacles, and miscellaneous devices within new electrical room • Provision of shop drawings for all new equipment • Arc flash Study test report and fuse coordination test report. • Provision of all required testing, commissioning and training services. Delivery Date: The Contractor must perform and complete the Work by December 31, 2022. Value of Project: To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated to cost $500,001 to $1,000,000.
