Trade Agreement: Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) Tendering Procedures: If 2+ bids offer Canadian goods/services other bids will not be considered Competitive Procurement Strategy: Best Overall Proposal Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: Non-Destructive Testing Services THIS DOCUMENT CONTAINS A SECURITY REQUIREMENT The Department of National Defence has a requirement for establishment of a Task Authorization contract for non-destructive testing (NDT), primarily radiography (RT), of HMC Ship and Submarine structure and pipe weld repairs to provide Quality Control (QC) in accordance with specified standards and policies as detailed in the Statement of Work at Annex A. The location of work is Fleet Maintenance Facility Cape Breton, Canadian Force Base Esquimalt in Esquimalt, BC. Work will be done on an "as and when requested" basis as detailed in the Statement of Work attached as Annex A. PERIOD OF THE CONTRACT: The period of the contract is two years from the date of Contract award. OPTION TO EXTEND THE CONTRACT: The Contractor grants to Canada the irrevocable option to extend the term of the Contract by up to one (1) additional one (1) year periods under the same conditions. The Contractor agrees that, during the extended period of the Contract, it will be paid in accordance with the applicable provisions as set out in the Basis of Payment. SECURITY REQUIREMENT: There are security requirements associated with this requirement. COVID-19 VACCINATION REQUIREMENT: This requirement is subject to the COVID-19 Vaccination Policy for Supplier Personnel. Failure to complete and provide the COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement Certification as part of the bid will render the bid non-responsive.
