NOTICE OF PROPOSED PROCUREMENT (NPP) Title: Renovations at Facility Building – Kugaaruk, Nunavut Solicitation Number: M5000-22-1193/A This procurement is reserved for beneficiaries of the following Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement(s) (CLCAs): Nunavut Land Claims Agreement under the Treasury Board Directive on Government Contracts, Including Real Property Leases, in the Nunavut Settlement Area. Only Indigenous businesses listed on the Inuit Firm Registry (IFR) are eligible to obtain tender documents and submit bids: https://inuitfirm.tunngavik.com/ This procurement is set aside from all the relevant trade agreements pursuant to the set-aside provisions for Indigenous businesses or for small and minority businesses. Indigenous businesses, that are listed on the Inuit Firm Registry (IFR), that have an interested in obtaining the tender documents are to send an email to Sandra.robinson@rcmp-grc.gc.ca, no later than March 23rd, 2022, to request the solicitation documents. Included within your email please provide the following information: email address or mailing address where you would like the information sent to. Description: The intent of Canada is to renovate the facility building in Kugaaruk, Nunavut. Scope of Work: Remove existing vehicle ramp Install new vehicle ramp for garage Level and add footing pads to triodedic foundation of facility building Repair facility building plumbing The Contractor must perform and complete the Work by 2023 March 31st. There is a security requirement associated with the requirement. COVID-19 VACCINATION REQUIREMENT This requirement is subject to the COVID-19 Vaccination Policy for Supplier Personnel. Failure to complete and provide the COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement Certification as part of the bid will render the bid non-responsive. RETURN SUBMISSIONS TO: RCMP / GRC Procurement & Contracting Services 5th Floor, 10065 Jasper Avenue NW Edmonton, AB T5J 3B1 Basis of Selection: Highest Combined Point Rating of the Inuit Benefit Plan, which includes Inuit Benefits Criteria (IBC), Nunavut Benefits Criteria (NBC) and Price, will be recommended for contract award. Canada retains the right to negotiate with any supplier on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada. The RCMP has adopted the Integrity Regime administered by Public Services and Procurement Canada. As a result, the integrity provisions are being applied in RCMP contracting activities as outlined in this solicitation. Canada will make available Notices of Proposed Procurement (NPP), bid solicitations and related documents for download through the Government Electronic Tendering Service (GETS) at http://www.buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders.
