NOTICE OF PROPOSED PROCUREMENT (NPP) Title: Floor Drain Replacement Project – Regina, SK Solicitation Number: M5000-22-1213/A Description: Interior renovations at the Central Heating Plant located in Regina, Saskatchewan. This work includes; labour, materials and shipping of materials. Work is to be done in such a way that the normal operation of the steam heating plant is not interrupted during the course of the work. Contractor is to supply a plan to the departmental representative for review prior to starting the work for approval. Remove existing blowdown tank and replace with new blowdown tank. Boilers to be switched over one at a time so one heating boiler is always running. Install new sanitary piping under the existing concrete slab. Install new floor and funnel floor drains as shown. Install new trench drain. Re-route existing roof drain. Install new lift station in sub-basement. Re pipe all sanitary lines in sub-basement. Install temporary holing tank for drain water from domestic water system. Install new sewage line from existing manhole to powerhouse. Re-slope subbasement trench drain. The Contractor must perform and complete the Work by November 30th, 2022. This is a first phase (Phase one) of a two-phase competition: the first phase will pre-qualify bidders based on mandatory requirements as per the attached Request for Qualifications; second phase (Phase two) will invite the qualified bidders to provide a financial bid on the project based on the specifications and drawings. The list of pre-qualified bidders resulting from Phase One will be valid for a period of 60 days upon notification of meeting the mandatory requirements or upon award of contract in Phase Two whichever comes first. No further Request for Qualifications will be published for this solicitation. There is a security requirement associated with the requirement.
