Trade Agreement: CFTA / FTAs with Peru / Colombia / Panama / Korea Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest/Lower Bid Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: Thick Vegetation Mower N3750E - Mowers, Lawn Parks Canada seeks to purchase four (4) specialized riding brush mowers capable of cutting through significantly thick vegetation. The intention of Canada is to award one contract to meet this requirement. The bidder must demonstrate that they meet every mandatory financial evaluation criteria in their bid by submitting supporting documentation. Failure to provide supporting documentation by bid closing date will result in the bid being deemed non-responsive. Some of the criteria include: a. Must be a gas powered (not diesel) riding brush mower with a minimum of 30 HP or a. Electric equivalents must have an autonomy greater than two (2) hours of continuous operations on a single charge b. Must be capable of operating and cutting vegetation on extreme slopes up to 30° incline c. Minimum cutting width of 60 d. Must meet the required federal and provincial standards in Ontario for operator’s safety IMPORTANT NOTICE TO SUPPLIERS RE. BID SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS Due to the impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic, temporary measures are being taken on-site at the Ontario Region Bid Receiving Unit to encourage social distancing. Faxed and hard copy (submitted in person or via mail/courier) bids will not be accepted for the subject bid solicitation. Bidders may request a debriefing on the results of the bid solicitation process. Bidders should make the request to the Contracting Authority within 15 working days from receipt of the results of the bid solicitation process. The debriefing may be in writing or by telephone.
