Trade Agreement: NONE Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest/Lower Bid Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: PROJECT IDENTIFICATION: EP764-2303913/A - Senate of Canada Building - UPS Components Replacement 2 Rideau Street, Ottawa, Ontario Project description: Supply and install components for the Uninterrupted Power Source systems at the Senate of Canada Building. Refer to scope of work. The Uninterrupted Power Source systems (UPS) provide power for Senate and committee seating broadcasts and meetings. Several components of the UPS systems are reaching their end of life cycle and require replacement to maintain the operational needs of the client. Work is to be completed within 6 Weeks after contract award. MANDATORY SECURITY REQUIREMENT: 1. The Contractor personnel requiring access to secure site(s) must, at all times during the performance of the Contract/Standing Offer, EACH hold a valid SITE ACCESS Clearance, granted or approved by the Contract Security Program (CSP), Public Works and Government Services (PWGSC). 2. The Contractor must comply with the provisions of the Security Requirements Check List and security guide (if applicable), attached at Annex A. OPTIONAL SITE VISIT There will be a site visit on 13/07/2022 at 10:00 a.m. Interested bidders are to meet at the main entrance of 2 Rideau St. Safety Attire - In order to be guaranteed access to the site all persons should have the proper personal protection equipment (safety glasses, footwear, vests and hard hats etc.). Contractor`s personnel/individuals who do not have the proper safety attire may be denied access to the site. Security pre-screening: All the individuals attending the site visit must hold a security clearance of Site Access. The names of each individual attending the site visit, their date of birth, along with the name of the firm they represent, should be provided to the Contracting Authority by 11/07/2021 at 10:00am in order to gain access to the site. Enquiries are to be made in writing and should be received no less than three (3) business days prior to the closing date to allow sufficient time to respond. BID DOCUMENTS: Firms intending to submit bids on this project should obtain bid documents through the Government Electronic Tendering Service at http://Buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders or at the toll-free number 1-855-886-3030. Amendments, when issued, will be available from the same government electronic tendering service. Firms that elect to base their bids on bid documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk and will be solely responsible to inform the bid calling authority of their intention to bid.
