Title: Project P1601F: Fitness Center Repair (Bldg 751), Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina Description of the Work: This project will consist of interior and exterior repairs to building 751. Building 751 is a two-story, approximately 50k square foot facility. The building is the Field House Geottge Memorial, which is an indoor physical fitness center that was originally constructed in the 1950s. The project consistes of extensive renovations including painting all interior and exterior painted surfaces; brick repair; renovation of the men's and women's heads in order to meet ABA complianance; replacement of floor finishes; replacement of windows and doors; replacement of bleachers with electrical retractable bleachers; providing energy efficient HVAC and plumbing system; providing new electrical systems; upgrading lighting to LED throughout; providing new fire suppression systems; providing digital fire alarm system; providing telecom; providing security camera system, PA system, and speakers; providing infrastructure for scoreboard; and providing roof replacement to include gutters. Required site improvements include replacing all handrails; repairing concrete sidewalks; resurfacing the asphalt parking lot; correcting site drainage issues; accommodating accessibility requirements; installation of site lighting; and incidental related work.
