Original Set Aside:

The contractor will provide instruction in basic horticulture. The requirement for these services will consist of an estimated maximum of 25 classroom participants. The Government estimates total of 1,500 sessions per year. One session is defined as one hour in length. It is anticipated the services will be required 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Holiday. The schedule is subject to be adjusted to meet program requirements and the needs of the institution. A mutually agreed upon schedule between the contractor and the Bureau of Prisons will be determined following award of a contract. The performance period will be for a base year, being 12 months from the estimated date of award and four 12-month option periods.
