Description:
SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory is operated by Stanford University for the Department of Energy. As a management and operating contractor, subcontracts awarded by the Laboratory are not Federal procurements, and are not directly subject to the Federal Acquisition Regulations in 48 CFR. Nonetheless, certain Federal laws, Executive Orders, and regulations may affect our DOE approved purchasing system, as required by statute, regulation, or contract terms and conditions. SLAC has a requirement for a U.S. domestic end item source equivalent to the following products from Few-Cycle: Quantity: 1, Main fiber holder kit few-cycle standard: fiber holder (entrance and exit), fiber protection tube, 2 pcs. KF25 bellows (nominal maximum pressure: 1.5 bar; operation will fail at 2.5-3 bar). The fiber is not included and should be ordered separately. Quantity: 2, KF25 stainless steel tubing (length to be specified, max. 1 m) incl. two adjustable holders. Quantity: 2, 1” vacuum window mount (20mm clear aperture) including KF40-25 adapter and clamp (window not included) Quantity: 2, Uncoated Window Material: fused silica Diameter: 1" Thickness: 3mm Coating (both surfaces): uncoated Quantity: 1, Gas supply system (3/8”OD) including gas inlet, connection to pump, differential pressure – static pressure option, venting option, 4 valves, 1 needle valve. Quantity: 2, Adapter base plate allowing to raise the beam height of the main fiber kit. Optional item, required only if the beam height differs from the 100mm standard beam height of the kit. Optional item required only if the beam height differs form 100mm. Quantity: 1, Standard mounted fiber (ID = 100µm), length < 1m Quantity: 1, High-pressure upgrade I; increases the nominal maximum pressure to 2.5 bar absolute; operation will fail at pressures >6 bar Quantity: 1, One-time reference customer discount 5% on hardware items #1-9 Quantity: 5, 1 day HCF installation and training, exclusive travel expenses Quantity: 1, Travel costs to USA (flat-rate) Quantity: 1, Packaging, shipping and insurance for the USA The award will be made based upon the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable method.
