Original Set Aside:

Purpose: The Army Contracting Command New Jersey (ACC-NJ), Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000 is conducting a Market Survey on behalf of the Joint Program Manager Office Towed Artillery Systems (PM-TAS) to seek out U.S. manufactured spindle forgings for the U.S. Government NG155 Program. Description: This Request for Information (RFI) is issued solely for information and planning purposes, as a means for the Government to conduct market research, identifying interested parties and their capability to manufacture the spindle forgings for the NG155 Program per U.S. Government Drawing 19206-11578926. The spindle forging is approximately 7 inches in Outer Diameter and is 8 inches in Length. This procurement will have an estimated quantity of eight (8) each. All interested vendors are requested to provide the following: A summary of your capability and experience in supplying spindle forgings or an item of similar nature. Unit Pricing, delivery schedule, and place of manufacture of the spindle forgings. Maximum monthly production capability and the production lead time to begin deliveries of the spindle forgings. The Technical Data Package (TDP) for the spindle forging is available upon request pending receipt of all required documents and approval by PM-TAS and ACC-NJ. The distribution of the TDP will only be authorized to the Department of Defense (DoD) and United States DoD contractors. Contractors interested in receiving the TDP for information only are required to submit the following documents signed and completed: (1) DD Form 2345 - Military Critical Technical Data Agreement; (2) AMSTA-AR Form 1350 - Technical Data Request Questionnaire; and (3) Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA). Firms/companies are invited to indicate their capabilities by providing specifications, brochures, manuals, reports, demonstration videos and/or other technical data, as well as identification of current customers. This Market Survey is a Request for Information (RFI) ONLY and should NOT be construed as a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a commitment by the United States Government. The Government recognizes that proprietary and/or classified data may be a part of this effort. If so, clearly mark such restricted/proprietary and classified data and present them as an addendum to the nonrestricted/non-proprietary and unclassified information. As a result of this Request for Information (RFI), a Request for Proposal (RFP) may be issued. Participation in this Request for Information (RFI) is completely voluntary by the vendor and as such all costs to develop the vendor’s response are to be borne by the participating vendor.
