Solicitation Number: 6177975 Notice Type: Notice of Intent to Sole Source Title: Three Motivaire cooling doors and cables Description: The National Institute of Health (NIH), National Library of Medicine (NLM), intends to award a sole source purchase order for the Center of Technology (CIT) to Hewlett Packard, PO Box 101125, Atlanta, GA 30392 for three Motivaire cooling doors and cables. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 541519. Hewlett Packard is the only responsible source known to provide the services needed. It is NLM's intent that the proposed action may be awarded on a sole source basis to Hewlett Packard under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Contractor Objectives and Tasks: This acquisition is for (1) three Motivaire cooling doors and associated plumbing and installation to complement three racks of compute nodes for the NIH HPC Biowulf Cluster already on order Sole Source Justification In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible, Hewlett Packard Enterprise is the only organization who can provide the services needed. This is not a solicitation, nor is a solicitation available. However, all interested organizations may submit their capability statements and qualifications which will be considered by NLM. Responses must be in writing and must be submitted electronically to Damian Hurge, Contract Officer at hurgeda@mail.nih.gov by 3:00 PM EST on, November 05, 2021. Proposals must include pricing information. No late responses will be accepted.
