SUMMARY: AFICC 338 ESS/PKD is conducting market research to gather information on a contractor’s capability to effectively provide development and delivery of quality F-16 and C-17 aircraft Extended Reality (XR) software models for crew Immersive Training Devices (ITDs). TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION: Develop digital add-on models importable to and compatible with Lockheed Prepar3D to provide an accurate, high-resolution, and complete digital simulation of F-16 and C-17 cockpits for use in light-weight simulators employing Virtual Reality (VR) and Mixed Reality (MR) hosted in an innovative immersive training environment. These digital models should represent the actual aircraft’s interior design and functionality, mirroring its appearance and operation.
