This is a "REQUEST FOR INFORMATION" only. This Sources Sought Notice is not a request for formal proposals or quotes. It is neither a solicitation announcement nor a request for proposals or quotes and does not obligate the Government to award a contract. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. Responses to this Sources Sought must be in writing. The Syracuse VA Medical Center 800 Irving Avenue Syracuse NY 13210 has a requirement for a contractor to provide a one-year service agreement to include 1 option year for Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) Maintenance. The service agreement shall include: Scope of Work: Contractor shall coordinate Preventative Maintenance (PM) services, one week in advance with the Contracting Officer Representative (COR), or Operations Supervisor. Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, and equipment for scheduled services for the equipment listed in Paragraph F located at the Syracuse VA Medical Center, 800 Irving Avenue, Syracuse, NY. Contractor shall furnish all parts and labor to accomplish the task of onsite emergency repairs, utilizing OEM parts, to prevent any potential compatibility, or functional issues with existing equipment. Contractors call back response time to any request for repair shall be 4 hours or less. Contractor will provide Liebert factory certified technician(s) onsite within 24 hours of initial call requesting repair. Scheduled maintenance shall consist of the services and intervals indicated in the manufacturer s operations and maintenance manuals, unless updated by the manufacturer in writing. Contracted service personnel shall be factory trained and authorized to service and repair Liebert NPower UPS systems. Contractor shall test the functionality of the equipment upon completion of repair. If this is a test for repair, the test should ensure that damaged parts have been successfully repaired and all functions including, but not limited to those related to repaired parts, are operational. If this is a test for a routine PM service, inspection, etc., then the test should just ensure that the equipment is functioning within the guidelines of the OEM. Upon completion of service and/or repair, technician shall provide documentation showing repair or service completed, and functionality testing must show unit/units function properly. Period of Performance Period of Performance (P.O.P.) for this requirement is: Base Year: 11/1/2021 - 10/31/2022 Option Year 1: 11/1/2022 10/30/2023 Service and Preventative Maintenance is to be performed between the hours of 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, excluding Federal holidays. Place of performance Work will be performed at the Syracuse VAMC, 800 Irving Avenue, Syracuse, NY 13210. Other Related Services (Not Included in the Scope of Work) Due to current world affairs, technicians will be required to adhere to safety requires upon the facility, to include the wearing of a face covering, proof of vaccination, or screening testing.
