Description:
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE SERVICES ON BOILERS AND WARM AIR FURNCES, AND INDUSTRIAL WATER TREATMENT ON HEATING AND CHILLED WATER SYSTEMS 1. GENERAL: This is a non-personal services contract perform cleaning and maintenance services on boilers, warm air furnaces and industrial water treatment on hydronic heating and chilled water systems as defined in this Performance Work Statement (PWS) at Osan Air Base (AB). 1.1. Scope: The Contractor shall provide all personnel, management, supervision, system testing equipment, tools, supplies, and transportation to provide cleaning and maintenance services on boilers, warm air furnaces and industrial water treatment on hydronic heating and chilled water systems as defined in this PWS. 1.2. Quality Control: The Contractor shall be responsible for performing inspections and submit the inspection report to COR within five (5) calendar days from completion of inspection to ensure that the services conform to the requirements specified herein. However, the Government reserves the right to perform random inspections and tests, which are deemed to assure that the services conform to the prescribed requirements in this PWS. 1.3. Quality Control Plan (QCP): The contractor shall develop and maintain an effective quality control plan to ensure services are performed in accordance with this PWS. The contractor shall develop and implement procedures to identify, prevent, and ensure non-recurrence of defective services. The contractor’s quality control plan is the means by which he assures himself that his work complies with the requirement of the contract. The Contractor is required to submit a Quality Control Plan within 10 calendar days after the contract award date (CDRL 1). An updated copy of the Contractor’s plan shall be provided to the Contracting Officer and COR as changes occur. The contractor shall use the format below to measure each line item in the Performance Requirements Summary (PRS) table. For any changes to the original QC plan the contractor shall receive the contracting officer’s acceptance in writing of any proposed change to his QC system.
