This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT using the simplified acquisition procedures of FAR Part 13 to procure management and support services, and IT support services for one-hundred-fifty (150) Cadets to facilitate a Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) virtual/remote Cadet Leadership Academy. The contractor shall provide adequate facilities to conduct virtual instruction, logistical support, technical support, training areas/classrooms, and training activities for the establishment of a Cyber/STEM for the purpose of developing cadet interest and knowledge in basic elements of Cyber Security and selected elements of STEM. Additionally, the camp shall provide cadets who perform in a satisfactory manner, 3 college credits in computer science and an opportunity to test for the SAN Institute IT Fundamentals certificate. The Contractor shall provide facilities, equipment, shipping, technical support, logistical support, training areas, and training activities for 150 JROTC cadets. The contractor shall provide a suitable Learning Management System (LMS) such as ZOOM for the delivery and management of remote classroom instruction. . Duration: The contract is for a period of performance from 18-July-2022 to 29-July-2022. The Government intends to award a sole source contract for the above services to the firm of X Corp Solutions INC. located at 1010 Corporate DR STE 310, Stafford Virginia, 22554-4916 USA. Proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit only one source. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. A determination by the Government not to compete with this propoesd contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered soley for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurment.
