The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) has a requirement for a power distribution units. The compliant services is available solely from Energy Technologies, Inc., as the required timeframe can only be met through ETI. The NAICS code is 334519 and the business size is 750 employees. The proposed purchase order is being solicited on a sole-source basis to Energy Technologies, Inc. The proposed action is for power distribution units, for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source pursuant to FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii). The basis for restricting competition is for the following reasons: ETI is the only source of the required service, with no compatible service on the market. The NSWCCD intends to award a firm fixed-price purchase order to Energy Technologies, Inc. using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. IThe NSWCCD will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible Quoter that submits the Lowest-Priced, Technically Acceptable (LPTA) quote in response to this solicitation that represent the best value to the Government.
