Headquarters Supreme Allied Commander Transformation (HQ SACT) has issued a Request for Information (RFI) with the intention to identify and assess existing solutions to provide NATO Special Operations Forces (SOF) Command and Control (C2) Communications and Information Systems (CIS) a capability with several wireless deployable transmission means so as to enable communications between different CIS nodes. The RFI is attached. HQ SACT’s reference for this RFI is RFI-ACT-SACT-21-101 and all correspondence and submissions concerning this matter should reference this number. Do NOT submit your response to the Department of Commerce. Please send all responses via email to the points of contact identified in the RFI. The submission deadline is 29 October 2021. This is an RFI only and the purpose of this RFI is to involve industry, through collaboration, in an examination of existing deployable wireless transmission means, relevant for NATO SOF C2 CIS Capability. HQ SACT has not made a commitment to procure any of the items described herein, and release of this RFI shall not be construed as such a commitment, nor as authorization to incur cost for which reimbursement will be required or sought. It is emphasized that this is an RFI, and not a Request for Proposal of any kind.
