Description:
Caribbean Security Basin Initiative (CBSI) Technical Assistance Field Team (TAFT) project to assist St Lucia in their efforts to repair their United States (U.S.) supplied vessel. The 32’ Zodiac was damaged during a collision with an un-lit vessel at night. Their vessel is currently not operational due to the severity of damage. The second zodiac vessel is also in a non-operational state due to the collar being at the end of its expected service life and damaged beyond repair due to normal wear and tear. Their vessel fleet is currently operating at a less than optimum. The component in need of repair are proprietary design specifications.
