PRE-SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT GOLDEN GATE NATIONAL RECRATION AREA WATER TAXI SERVICE RFQ No. 140P8622Q0002 The National Park Service (NPS), Golden Gate National Recreation Area (GOGA), located in San Francisco County, California, has a requirement for a water taxi service to transport overnight security officer between San Francisco and Alcatraz Island. The water taxi service site is located in the San Francisco Bay, 1.5 miles (2.4 km) offshore from San Francisco, California. The period of performance is from November 7, 2021, through March 12, 2022. This procurement is set-aside for Total Small Business concerns only. All responsible sources with Small Business status may submit a proposal which, if timely received, will be considered. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 483212; the small business size standard is 500 employees. The Government intends to award a single, fixed price contract. Award selection shall be made on a Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable determination made after consideration of price and factors other than price. The RFQ will be available via electronic commerce only and may be accessed on or about October 21, 2021 at SAM.gov. The prospective Offeror is responsible for periodically checking these websites for any amendments that may be issued prior to the closing date of the RFQ. SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT: Offerors shall be required to have a DUNS number and an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) (www.sam.gov) in order to conduct business with the Federal Government.
