Description:
GENERAL INFORMATION The Government anticipates awarding a single firm-fixed-price (FFP) purchase order as a result of this Request for Quotation. This acquisition is being conducted using Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.5 Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Products and Commercial Services. Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) 0001 Charter hire rates are exclusive of the cost of fuel. CLIN 0002 Reimbursable Fuel is an estimated cost by the Government. It is understood that the cost of fuel during the charter may be less or more than the estimated cost listed in CLIN 0002. Upon delivery of the Vessel, the Owner shall present to the Contracting Officer a statement certified by the Owner or its authorized agent showing the amount and grade of fuel on board at the time of delivery with such additional verification as the Contracting Officer may require and the Charterer shall pay the Owner for such fuel at the current market price at the port of delivery upon certification and verification of such statement by the Contracting Officer, except that for charters when the vessel receives no fuel during the course of the charter, the Charterer shall reimburse Owner for the amount of fuel used during the Charter at the current market rate at delivery port at time of delivery of the vessel. STATEMENT OF WORK The contractor shall provide all labor, services, materials, equipment, and associated related items and services necessary to perform the requirement outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW), “Vessel Charter for Coral Reef Monitoring and Assessments in Papahanaumokuakea Marine National Monument Research 2023 dated July 18, 2022” which is provided at Attachment A. The Contractor shall provide prices in the Schedule of Supplies/Services and Price/Costs Table provided on the SF 1449.
