Original Set Aside:

The U.S. Army Contracting Command- Rock Island (ACC-RI), Rock Island, IL on behalf of the Office of the Project Manager Combat Ammunition Systems (PM-CAS) is conducting a market survey to identify qualified sources of producing the M702, M299, M752A1, and M1020 Ignition Cartridges. The purpose of this market survey is to obtain current information on the capability of potential sources to provide these Ignition Cartridges to the warfighter to meet FY23-FY27 military requirements. At this time, a Technical Data Package (TDP) is not available, but will be attached in the near future. Once attached to the sources sought posting, access to the uncertified TDP can be requested directly through Contract Opportunities at Sam.Gov. The contractor will need to provide the following to receive the uncertified TDP: the full name of the person requesting access to the drawings, the CAGE Code specific for that individual’s company and the individuals email address. If a solicitation is released, the certified TDP will be made available. Please review the additional information provided in the Attachments section and provide all requested information, in the format described, to the Contract Specialist listed below. TELEPHONE INQUIRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The US Government will accept written questions by email. Email your questions to POC: Chelsey Love. The US Government will not consider marketing brochures adequate information in response to this notice and reserves the right to reject, in whole or in part, any private sector input as a result of the Market Research notice. All information provided will not be returned and will be held as contractor confidential information. The email shall contain a subject line that reads "W52P1J-21-R-IGNCRTS Sources Sought Notice Response". No solicitation exists; therefore, do not request a copy of a solicitation. If a formal solicitation is generated at a later date, a solicitation notice will be published. All companies interested in a future solicitation must be registered in the System for Award Management.
