Original Set Aside:

On 13 September 2021, Army Contracting Command – Detroit Arsenal (ACC-DTA) issued a sole source Request for Proposal to Canadian Commercial Corporation (CCC) (Cage 98247) which will be subcontracted to the Light Armored Vehicle (LAV) Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), General Dynamics Land Systems-Canada (GDLS-C) (Cage 56161). The procurement will be sole source in accordance with the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2), “Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements”. The resulting contract will procure in-Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) Field Support Team (FST) services to support the Saudi Arabia Ministry of National Guard (MNG) fleet of LAVs. The resulting contract will be Firm Fixed Price (FFP) with a one-year period of performance. The proposal is due on 29 October 2021. GDLS-C is the only known qualified source for this procurement. GDLS-C is the OEM for the LAV and owns the proprietary Technical Data Package.
