Description:
This announcement will be open to Total Small Business Set Aside to include Small Disadvantaged Businesses, Woman-Owned Small Businesses, HUBZone, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business. This is an Invitation for Bid (IFB) using the procedures outlined in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 14 for a Firm Fixed Priced Design Bid Build Construction Contract at Waco Lake Project Office, located in Waco, Texas to accomplish the renovation of Airport Restroom #2. Successful renovation efforts will provide updates to infrastructure that comply with current code and Unified Facilities Criteria spelled out in design documents. The work will involve but not limited to: • Plumbing; • Electrical • Roofing • Masonry Work; • Painting; • Pressure Washing • Carpentry The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this project is 236220, COMMERCIAL AND INSTITUTIONAL BUILDING CONSTRUCTION, which has a size standard of $39,500, 000 in average annual receipts. The IFB is anticipated to be issued on or about 13 June 2022, and proposals will be due on or about 13 JULY 2022. A firm-fixed price contract is anticipated to be awarded using Price Only. No public bid opening procedures are applicable for this solicitation. Anticipated contract award date on or about 22 July 2022. DFARS 236.204 Disclosure of the magnitude of construction project (ii) between $100,000 and $250,000. The wages and benefits of service employees (see FAR 22.10) performing under this contract must be at least equal to those determined by the Department of Labor under the Davis-Bacon Act. After solicitation issuance, contractors may view and/or download this solicitation and all amendments at the following internet address: https://www.sam.gov/. The use of the website requires prior registration at www.sam.gov. Plans and specifications will NOT be made available in paper format or on compact disc. It is the Offeror's responsibility to monitor the SAM web site for amendments to the solicitation.
