Solicitation Number: 140R1722Q0007, Flathead Lake Debris Disposal for Hungry Horse Field Office, Hungry Horse, MT The Bureau of Reclamation (BOR) Reclamation has a need for debris removal for the Hungry Horse Field Office (Reservoir). The debris removal is to facilitate the removal of floating debris which principally consists of logs, snags, and slash from upriver logging, uprooted trees and brush from riverbank undercutting and miscellaneous floating debris and garbage. Contractor will be responsible for debris removal from the log boom to the face of the Dam, including both left and right shoreline to log boom. Debris from collection facility (Hungry Horse Reservoir) is to be removed and hauled to a designated site. This contract is for the collection and disposal of debris. This is a semi - annual debris collection over a five (5) year period at the Hungry Horse Field Office in Hungry Horse, MT 59919. This acquisition is 100% SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES. We anticipate issuing a Request for Quotes (RFQ) by December 13, 2021, but all dates in this notice are subject to change. Any amendments applicable to the solicitation will be posted at the same site. Reclamation intends to award one firm firm-fixed-price contract. The anticipated date to issue the Request for Quote, 140R1722Q007, (written) is approximately the third week of December 2021. The anticipated closing date is the third week of January. The anticipated award date is the fourth week of January. Prospective vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to the closing of this solicitation. A site visit is anticipated the first week of January. While it is not mandatory, attendance is strongly encouraged. The initial period of performance (base year) shall be Award of Contract award date plus 12 months, with four (4) 1-year option years to renew. The anticipated period of performance is: Base Year: April 1, 2022 to March 31, 2023. The actual work period is only April 1, 2022 to October 31, 2022. Option Year One: April 1, 2023 to March 31, 2024. The actual work period is only April 1, 2023 to October 31, 2023. Option Year Two: April 1, 2024 to March 31, 2025. The actual work period is only April 1, 2024 to October 31, 2024. Option Year Three: April 1, 2025 to March 31, 2026. The actual work period is only April 1, 2025 to October 31, 2025. Option Year Four: April 1, 2026 to March 31, 2027. The actual work period is only April 1, 2026 to October 31, 2026. This service will be purchased in accordance with FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13, simplified acquisition procedures apply. The Government will evaluate quotes based on factors listed in the solicitation.
