THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR OFFERS OR PROPOSALS. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INTEREST FIRMS OR CONTRACTORS TO SUBMIT THEIR CREDENTIALS. THIS NOTICE DOES NOT REPRESENT A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT TO ISSUE A SOLICITATION OR AWARD A CONTRACT. INFORMATION RECEIVED WILL BE USED TO DETERMINE THE AVAILABILITY OF TECHNICALLY CAPABLE AND OTHERWISE RESPONSIBLE FIRMS THAT WOULD BE INTERESTED IN SUBMITTING OFFERS FOR THIS ANTICIPATED SOLICITATION. The General Services Administration, Public Building Service is seeking sources capable of performing the work to be performed hereunder includes the furnishing of all labor, supervision, equipment, material (unless otherwise noted) of all work requested to perform construction services to renovate the Social Security Administration – Office of Hearings Operations (SSA-OHO) located in the Federal Office Building Little Rock, Arkansas. A summary of the work is as follows: ·Addressing need for asbestos abatement ·Provide (3) additional hearing rooms for a total of 7 ·Bring office into Space Allocations Standards Compliance ·Improve space organization ·New/Updated IT, Security and CCTV equipment ·Clear separation of public and employee spaces ·Maximizing daylight and natural light ·Recommendations for acoustical solutions which provide a balance between collaborative work and focused concentration on individual tasks. The federal building with will remain occupied and operational throughout construction. The estimated cost range for all work is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Work to be performed under the contemplated contract will be within the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 236220, commercial and Institutional Building Construction with a size standard of $39.5 Million. It is anticipated that this project will take approximately 14 Months to complete. In responding to this sources sought synopsis, please indicate your: (1) interest as a prime contractor, teaming partner, joint venture, and indicate (2) whether or not your company is a 8(a), Hub Zone, Women Owned Business, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business, Small or Large Business, . (3) Brief description of your firms past experience in Construction trades, (4) overall Bonding Capacity, and (5) company information (name, point of contact phone number/email).
