Original Set Aside:

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) intends to award a single source contract to CSSI, Inc. located in Washington, DC. The FAA proposes to acquire technical and programmatic support for the FAA Voluntary Safety Reporting Program (VSRP), to include support for a VSRP transformation and modernization refresh effort currently underway. The acquisition will utilize single source procedures. In accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System, AMS 3.2.2.4, the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis of the FAA's decision to contract with a selected source when it is determined to be in the best interest of the FAA. CSSI, Inc. is the only known source capable of providing the full range of required VSRP support and meeting the FAA’s critical timeline for VSRP transformation and modernization. This announcement is for informational purposes only and is not a Solicitation/Request for Proposal. This requirement will be awarded to CSSI, Inc. and is not available for full and open competition. Note: The Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) references cited in SAM.gov are not applicable to the FAA as the FAA has its own policies and guidance referenced in the Acquisition Management System (AMS).
