NOTICE OF INTENT THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT, NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL, A SOLICITATION DOCUMENT WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND PROPOSALS WILL NOT BE REQUESTED. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Norfolk District, intends to enter into a Firm-Fixed Price contract on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii) with WSP USA Solutions, Inc. The contract is for architect-engineering to provide AE Construction Phase Services as a follow-on to the design work recently completed for the DSCR Bldg. 54 Navy Artifact Room at Defense Supply Center Richmond, Virginia. The period of performance shall extend to keep the contract active during construction, approximately 15 months. The work shall be completed in accordance with the Unified Design Criteria, USACE’s design guide, and integration of geographic conditions and site constraints. WSP USA Solutions, Inc. is the designer of record (DOR). This is not a solicitation for competitive proposals; however, if any interested party believes they can meet the above requirement, they may submit a capability statement to the point of contact listed in this Special Notice. All information furnished must be in writing and must contain sufficient detail to allow USACE to be able to determine if the interested party can perform the requirement described herein.
