As the OEM, General Electric Company has authorized Rhinestahl Customer Tooling Solutions as its sole provider of F414 engine Peculiar Support Equipment (PSE) and as such, Rhinestahl Customer Tooling Solutions is the only company that has the requisite knowledge, sufficient technical data, drawings, software, and trained technical personnel to provide these items. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate this requirement under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. Registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov) is mandatory for consideration. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
