Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to make a single award for the provision of bread order for the inmate population at the Federal Correctional Complex located in Terre Haute, Indiana. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit prices. The contract period shall consist of a base period from effective Date of Award through 12 months from effective Date of Award. The anticipated Date of Award is October 1, 2022. This requirement is 12-month and one Option Year. The Government anticipates requiring the following listed below: Hot Dog Buns (100% Whole Wheat) 12 count packs, Base Year and Option Year 1 - 15,000 pks Hamburger Buns, (100% Whole Wheat) 12 count packs, Base Year and Option Year 1 -50,000 pks Bread, (100% Whole Wheat) Loaf, Base Year and Option Year 1 - 100,000 loaves Bread, Dinner Rolls, (100% Whole Wheat), Base Year and Option Year 1 - 18,000 ea Rolls Hoagie, (100% Whole Wheat) 8 count packs, Base Year and Option Year 1 - 30,000 pks The solicitation will be available on or about May 11, 2022 and will be distributed solely through the beta sam website at www.sam.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on or about June 10, 2022. All potential quoters are advised that the solicitation will include the clause at FAR 52.212-4 for Commercial Items, paragraph (t) System for Award Management (SAM). This clause requires all contractors doing business with the Federal Government after September 30, 2003, to be registered in the SAM database. If your company is not registered in SAM, registration can be made at http://www.sam.gov/ Faith-Based and Community Based Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. This is being solicited as 100% Small Business set-aside. The NAICS and Size Standard for this requirement is 311812.
