This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 and part 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 34273220002 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2021-05, effective 10 March 2021. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 42339. The small business size standard is 750 employees. This solicitation is 100% Set-Aside for Small Business. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. It is anticipated that a firm-fixed price purchase order will be awarded for the item found below as a result of this synopsis/solicitation: equivalent items requested in this solicitation will be considered for award.. Scope of Work United States Coast Guard MSRT East Chesapeake, Virginia CRRC Storage Cage 1.1 Project Description: The contractor shall furnish all labor, material, equipment, transportation and supervision for the installation of a 25’L x 12’D x 10’H fenced cage sufficient for the storage of 5 CRRC boats, engines and subsequent equipment located at the USCG MSRT East RUBB Compound, 1260 Shotgun Road, Chesapeake, Virginia 23322. 1.2 Contractor Qualifications and Personnel Requirements: The contractor shall provide all materials, equipment and trained personnel to perform the work. The contractor shall provide a primary point of contact to include a phone number and email address. 1.3 Contracting Officer’s Representative: All work performed by the contractor is subject to inspection and acceptance by the Contracting Officer or the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR). Unsatisfactory work shall be corrected at no additional cost to the government. The COR is BM1 Nicholas Dziama who may be reached at (757) 421- 1898 (office), or at Nicholas.b.dziama@uscg.mil. The COR is not authorized to issue changes to the contractor or resolve contractual disputes. 1.4 Location of Work: All work shall be performed at the RUBB compound. The contractor is responsible for the transport of equipment to and from the location of work. 1.5 Site Visit: If desired, bidders encouraged contact the COR to schedule a site visit. 1.6 Hours of Work: All work performed shall be conducted within the hours of operation deemed suitable by the contractor and certified dealer. 1.7 Scheduling of Work: The contractor shall schedule all work performed with the COR. 1.8 Inspection and Acceptance of Work: The contractor shall keep the COR fully informed of contract operations throughout the performance of work. The contractor shall notify the COR upon completion of work. The contractor and COR shall perform a joint final inspection and the contractor shall correct any noted deficiencies. 1.9 Government Furnished Utilities: The government will furnish one RUBB compound to have a cage built in. 1.10 Submittals: The contractor shall provide the following submittals: A. The contractor shall submit a copy of warranty documentation to the COR. 1.11 Storage Facilities: The government will not provide storage facilities. 1.12 Site Clean Up: Upon completion of any work performed, the contractor shall remove and properly dispose of debris and rubbish.
