Network Contracting Office, NCO17 anticipates awarding a Firm-Fixed-Price construction contract for, Install Lighting Upgrade for Energy Efficiency, Project No. 671-15-132, Audie Murphy VA Medical Center, 7400 Merton Minter Blvd, San Antonio, Texas 78229 The method of procurement shall be an Invitation for Bid (IFB) in accordance with the procedures set forth in Parts 14 and 36 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), with an estimated issue date of October 15, 2021, and a projected bid due date of November 15, 2021. Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, equipment, tooling, and supervision to install the lighting upgrades at Audie Murphy VA Medical Center as called out in the Construction Documents. The project includes but is not limited to; Replacing existing lamps and fixtures with more efficient devices, installing light control devise that turn off lights when users are not in the vicinity of the monitored area. Installing light harvesting sensors that decrease the fixture/bulb energy output when supplemental daylight is detected. Upgrade existing lighting fixtures and bulbs with more energy efficient options. Integrate technology sensors and energy efficient lighting controls. Install new light control devices in single occupancy offices and restrooms, install new light control devices in multi-occupancy offices and restrooms. Install new multi-room light control systems, and design light harvesting systems for the canteen. Work includes general construction per the provided Scope of Work (SOW), Specifications and Drawings. Project duration shall be 365 calendar days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed (NTP). This requirement is a competitive offer, Set Aside 100% for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). The applicable NAISC code is 236220, $39.5 Mil. The magnitude of the construction estimated cost range: $1,000,000 - $5,000,000.
